‘Blood Drums’, houses an explosive, spine-tingling apocalyptic

(Seattle, WA – September 12, 2016) Dubbed by DRUM MAGAZINE! as the “Ensemble of the Year”, Blood Drums -also known as ‘Street Drum Corps’- debut their latest self-titled album to be released on KJ Sawka’s (drummer of Destroid and Pendulum) new label, Impossible Records. ‘Blood Drums’ the album, houses an explosive, spine-tingling apocalyptic Mad Max blend of high-energy percussive music that’s thrashing with major rhythm, blood, sweat and blazing with bass. This is not your typical EDM; scourging the junk yard, they’ve taken the concept of ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’ to the next level by drawing out the true essence of percussion, utilizing found objects, and combining them with the traditional tools of the trade. Not to mention, their epic live shows which includes pyrotechnics, visual effects, lighting and massive projections.
Founding members -whom all of which are drummers- consists of, Bobby Alt, Adam Alt and Frank Zummo, (drummer for Krewella and Sum 41) had a vision to create something distinctive and unseen stemming from their passion for percussion, a mind-altering Live EDM stage performance that you won’t want to miss. All the while they’ve graced countless live stages, tv and the entire entertainment scene since 2004, and have been enjoyed by 300,000 guests per season since 2010. As of late, they’ve teamed up with music producer and world renowned drummer extraordinaire, KJ Sawka of Pendulum and Destroid, uniting to take this incredible project above and beyond what they’ve already achieved.
Blood Drums has graced the covers of Drum Magazine! and Tattoo Magazine with features via Rolling Stone, Blender, MTV News/Radio, Modern Drummer and more. And the street cred’ doesn’t stop there, they’ve toured over 30 countries with the likes of, Linkin Park, Paramore, 30 Seconds To Mars and Skrillex, to name a few. They’ve performed on “Late Night” and “The Tonight Show w/ Conan O’Brien”, as well as Krewella’s “Somewhere To Run” and “Motley Crue – White Trash Circus” Music Videos, among others. Today, Blood Drums has grown into a global movement with honorary members, namely, Tommy Lee, Matt Sorum, Stephen Perkins and Chad Smith. Currently they have over 14 franchise residencies in theme parks and fairs across the US.
